October 2, 2002: A crowd gathers as a film crew finishes a set up in front of The Saloon, 1232 Grant Avenue, for a scene in Twisted. Ashley Judd stars in director Philip Kaufman's 2004 release with Ashley Judd as a homicide inspector who's her own best suspect. Twisted also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Andy Garcia. Pine Sol lady and comic Diane Amos appears briefly. The Saloon, established in 1861, is the City's last surviving Barbary Coast saloon.
