Judith McGrath is Deputy Governor Colleen Powell, “Po Face.” The prison officer is bitten by careerism following the promotion of Vera Bennett to Governor of Barnhurst in Episode 224. Colleen leaves her husband Patrick for his lack of ambition in Episode 343 and spends the night in the worse-than-Wentworth Burvale Hotel. Colleen entertains the idea of an affair with a Woodridge officer and crosses the line by dating an inmate’s husband, but she and Patrick reconcile. Before too long Patrick and the kids are blown up in a car bomb meant for officer Rick Manning. Following the deaths of her family members, Po Face leaves the prison service to travel in Europe.
Jeff told Judith McGrath she looks even better than she did in the show. “I don’t know about that,” said McGrath. “You have a better hairdo, anyway,” shot cast mate Kirsty Child.
