I love Prisoner (CELL BLOCK H) I was 12 or 13 when Los Angeles television station KTLA began running the program nightly at 7 PM.... I only remember the first season as I think it was cancelled in Los Angeles after that. Thank the Lord for the internet - I have been enjoying the TV Serial on You Tube the last few weeks, quite addicting. I am watching season one episode 74 as I am typing this not. I also find myself using Australian terminology in my everyday vocabulary. I love this show. Great Blog !!!!!

I am 41 years old. I was around 9 years old when I started watching Prisoner Cell Block H in Minnesota, USA. It made a very big impression on me. I have the highest respect for the producers and the actors. I firmly believe that it was due to the broadcast of Prisoner that has helped me at my weakest moment. It was always in the back of my mind with any decision I made. There were times when I was desperate and there was no other way for me. I just had to remember what I saw in Prisoner and it got me right out of trouble. I recently found the full episodes of Prisoner on You Tube. It is exactly as I remember it and I still enjoy watching it. It is like visiting old friends. I just want to mention that it is also due to the character of Bea Smith that helped. To have attitude she has and to assert her authority like she did make a long lasting impression. The actress is a credit to her profession. Long live Prisoner and long live Bea Smith.

Then as an adult collected all the DVDs and now haven't missed an episode on foxtel since the re runs have returned.
I love them all like family!!! Lol

I love Prisoner. It is the best show ever. I love it so much. I am only 13 and my mum and dad got me on to it but it was mainly my mum that got me on to it. I love Bea, Chrissie, and Doreen.
