Dateline: Sydney 02/14/09: Hank Donat and Jeff Halpern celebrate the fifth anniversary of their original Valentine’s Day wedding at San Francisco City Hall by visiting Sydney Town Hall in the capitol of New South Wales, Australia. 483 George Street.
While waiting for the March 5, 2009 hearing in the California Supreme Court, which will decide the fate of our lawful June 17, 2008 wedding – and that of 18,000 other same-sex marriages in addition to the immediate future of gay marriage in the state – the first gay grooms of San Francisco visit both the Supreme Court of New South Wales, located in Queen’s Square, 184 Philip Street, Sydney and the Supreme Court of Victoria in Melbourne (below).
