Prisoner of Melbourne: Dr. Miller’s Office

Disillusioned with running the prison surgery and being used by prisoners, Dr. Greg Miller opens a practice in Fitzroy at 4 Spring Street. After he leaves Melbourne with Karen in Episode 80, a permanent replacement for prison doctor is never found.

David O’Connell blamed Dr. Miller for his mum getting thrown back in Wentworth after a shootout so he cases the surgery with help from a mate and returns to make a hit on the doc.

Karen got caught in David’s crosshairs through this window in Episode 78.

How we got there: From Barnhurst we walked west bound on Johnston Street through a mini-Van Ness Avenue of furniture and fixture stores blending into the hip, arty, young, design and op shops of Fitzroy. What more could a Prisoner Queen ask for? Turn right on Spring Street from Johnston. From Flinders, walk two blocks north on Swantson Street to Collins. Take Tram #112 toward West Preston to the intersection of Brunswick and Johnston Streets. Head west on Johnston Street by foot to Spring Street.
