Prisoner of Melbourne: Courthouse
Mister SF’s Roadshow: Prisoner of Melbourne |
The Prahran Courthouse, corner of Greville Street and Macquarie Street, serves as an all-purpose courthouse in Prisoner. Sharon Gilmour, Tony Reid, Lizzie and Doreen, Caroline and Vivienne Simpson, Pat O’Connell, Toni McNally, Geoff Butler, Bea Smith, and Mum Brooks are all tried here.
How we got there: From Flinders Street Station, take the Sandringham train to Prahran Station. Exit the station on Greville Street and head east down an amazing street of cool shops, bars, eateries, and even a magazine shop rivaling any metropolitan newsstand. The gates and signs seen in Prisoner are on Macquarie Street, seen here.
Themes of justice point the way.
Toni got off but she didn’t get the man in Episode 63.
Roz Coulson shot McNally dead after McNally was acquitted of murder at Prahran Courthouse in the death Coulson’s mother.
