Memorial Park is a tiny dog park near the corner of Cole and Carl along
the N Judah. As if to confuse visitors, the small park is located at the
West Portal of the Sunset Tunnel - in Cole Valley. Here,
dogs learn new tricks on a well kept wedge of lawn surrounded by trees
and flowers... cala lilies, jasmine, lavendar - the usual suspects. A
recent scene: A chic blonde lady with a pixie haircut wearing a yellow
sun dress does her best Tippi Hedren to avoid being spattered by a flock
of shiny blackbirds. Nearby, a Rotweiller and a Jack Russell Terrier root
for the birds. |
