Like the makers of Angel Soft, formerly known as M&D, Mollie Stone's hopes the Tower Market will remain a favorite by any other name.

Viglizzo's Tower Market managed to avoid the chain gang, remaining an independent operation at 635 Portola Drive in the Mira Loma district for 63 years. In 2005, the grocer became part of the 20 year-old Mollie Stone's chain founded by Mike Stone and David Bennett.
