PJ Corkery is
our hardest working columnist, covering everybody's business like nobody's
business daily in the Examiner and, later, in his online outlet. That he
does so and still takes the time to support the work of other local writers,
including Mister SF, speaks volumes about PJ. When "Heart of the City" launched
in February, 2001, San Francisco already had many more columns than it needed
but only one written from the singular point of view that is, "I love, love,
love this town." That was PJ's.
PJ Corkey's Examiner
column ran from January 8, 2001 - April 2, 2003. Later, he launched
the world's first blogolumn at pjsf.com
before returning to the Examiner under its new owners on June 9, 2004.
