Kevin
is
a fixture in front of the Hyatt Regency at California and Drumm streets
in the Financial District. When Mister SF arrived in San
Francisco
in the early '80s, Kevin was one of the very first people he saw. At
that
time, Kevin was sitting on this bench near the cable car stop. He was
shouting
about Ronald Reagan. For nearly 25 years, the Republican president has
been a recurring topic in Kevin's rant. For startled tourists, the most
important thing to know about Kevin is that he won't hurt anybody. He's
just another character in the story of a City so little
even its street people are famous.
